As the city life goes on, dogs are loosing their ways faster and faster. Some are concerned, others just simply go along with it. Older dogs think this generation is taking granted for the easy life they have, compared to when they were pups. They would like to say that it's mostly brutes that are turning for the worst, but it's not true. Even feas are digging themselves deeper and deeper into this rut. Dogs are getting lazier, greedier, and more aggressive. Is it a natural reason, or for something deeper than that?
The country dogs, truely the only dogs that do not have any of these seven sins threatening their lifestyle, believe that it has to do with living in the city. Why else would only the dogs living there be effected? The Country pack still lives a simple lifestyle, and are grateful for anything that they can get. The City dogs are greedy, disrespectful, and vain. Can the country dogs get to them and try to save them before it's too late? Before the City dogs become nothing more than pets?
Scientists are the cause. A few years ago, a few chosen strays from the local pound were tested and experimented illeagily on. They meant to cross wolf DNA with common dog ones, but it backfired horrible. It resulted in dozens of vicious, aggressive wolf-hybrids, and dozens of lazy, self-centured, stuck up dogs. Now it's leaking out into the population of stray dogs in the city; Anyone with the corrupted lineage of DNA has a 40 40 chance of being either heartless or pathetic. The last ten percent have the slim hopes of becoming normal.
What will happen? Will the Country dogs manage to convince the loners and the City Pack dogs to do something about this, or will they fail and loose over half of the population of strays?
you MUST read these rules. everything you need to be accepted is included. if you don't follow the rules, and break more than three, you will be banned permanantly from the jaded. learn them, live by them, love them.
here are where you post your applications. you can not post anywhere else except for the getting you started boards and app boards, untill you get accepted. an admin will move you to the files when your bio is acceptable.
here is where you can apply to be a member of the jaded staff. there are currently four positions available- two helpers [co-admins] one graphic maker, and one global moderator.
if your charrie and their mate decide to [or are forced] to have puppies, PM SORA [the main admin.] with a copy of your charrie's and the other charrie's bio. sora will decide what the look like, if they are healthy, how many, etc, and post them here. parents get first dibs at pups.
here is the dog pound. if a member has been deleted or has become inactive, an admin will move all of their bios here and their dogs are up for grabs. be prepared to give an RP sample in place for the dog.
is your dog looking for love? look no further. just post their bio here, and include qualities wanted in their future mate, and just wait for someone who's interested to reply.
here is the fearsome city dog's most prized piece of terra. it's where the alphas reside, and where most dogs sleep and take their meals. if you are seeking acceptance into this pack, do not come here. go to the borders, like everyone else.
this is the city dog's junkyard. its a pretty safe place, considering it's in city dog terra. if you're a daring loner, you may try to get some food here. this place has alot of remains of food from humans.
the main streets. a few busy streets connecting eachother, make a perfect, rectangle shaped outline of the city dog terra. pretty hard to miss, so don't even try that 'i didn't know this was your land' crap with them. they're smarter than that. if you want to join them, this is where you come to beg acceptance. dont try to beg from any of the street venders for food, though, or the dogs will think you are a theif [even though most of them are] and chase you off.
here is the country pack's most valued terra... the farm. it's an abandoned farm from the late 1800's. no humans seem to know about it. the country pack resides in it, meaning sleep and eat there.
here is the country pack's main source of water; the babbling stream known to them as the deer stream. they are not very territorial about this area, but will still confront anyone on intruding.
this is the swamp. this suprisingly is more of a lake then a swamp, but is called so because of the creatures living at it. no crocidiles, but herons, water snakes, and frogs beyond belief. be careful, sometimes humans come hunting here.
the beach. this is free terra, so feel free to come here no matter what or whom you are. its pretty small, considering its at the edge of the city, just barely inside it's limits. people don't come here often, since it is winter, but dogs tend to.
this is the carnival! it's here yearround, since it doesnt snow here ever. most humans here take pity on strays who will beg for food, so come here as a resort to hunger.
this is the playground. kids come here sometimes, so come here after dark if you mind. if you don't, come here anytime. most loner mothers come here to leave their pups for others to care for.
here is the town's abandoned train station. it's nothing much, just a place to crash for packless dogs. sometimes homeless humans reside here too, but they never stay too long.
